Malcolm Macleod (1796-1884) was a son of Norman Macleod and Christina Macritchie, 4 Old Orinsay.
In Lochs, in 1830, he married Ann Macleod, 16 Old Lemreway. Malcolm and Ann settled at 2 Old Orinsay and they had seven children.
Malcolm was widowed in 1841.
Old Orinsay was cleared in 1843 and the family were removed to 13 Crossbost.
In Lochs, in 1844, he married Ann Mackenzie, 2 Crossbost. Malcolm and Ann had a son, Malcolm.
