Annie, born in 1856, was a daughter of Donald and Catherine nee Mackay. She was born in Valtos, the family then moved to Tobson sometime between 1871 and 1881. She married Donald Macleod from 2 Crulivig and lived at his family home until they moved to 5 Lundale to live with her father. They had eleven of a family; ten boys and one girl, one boy dying in infancy.
