Donald (born 1849) was a son of John Macleod and Catherine Kennedy, 13a Calbost.
In Lochs, in 1878, he married Mary Macdonald, 9 Habost. Donald and Mary were Cottars at 13a Calbost and they had four children.
Donald was widowed in 1886 and that year married Isabella Kennedy, 4 Marvig
The family had moved to the new extension at 23 Marvig by 1901.
