22366: Walter Armstrong Bruce
Walter Armstrong (1889-1915) was a son of William Bruce and Agnes E Armstrong of the Cromore Schoolhouse and Knockiandue Schoolhouse, Keose.
Walter did not marry; he trained as a teacher and worked in Dunbar. He served as a Sergeant with the 5th Battalion Royal Highlanders during the First World War. He was killed in action and is buried in Y Farm Military Cemetery, Bois-Grenier, France.
