20727: Ann Chisholm
Anna Choinnich Mhurchaidh
Ann (1861-1938) was a daughter of Kenneth Chisholm and Mary Carmichael, 30 Gravir. The family later moved to 10 Lemreway.
In 1898, in Gravir, she married widower Angus Macleod, 12 Cromore, the couple moved to 5 Torostay and they had four daughters.
Her daughter Mary Ann returned to Torostay from Chicago in 1929 and, after Angus died, they moved to Stornoway and ran a boarding house at 47 Kenneth Street. Ann died there aged 77.
