15206: John Kennedy
Iain Dhùghaill Dhòmhnaill
John (1860-1905) was a son of Dugald Kennedy and Margaret Nicolson, 2 Calbost. In 1866 the family obtained the tenancy of 2b Calbost.
In Lochs, in 1891, he married Anne Nicolson, 11 Calbost. John and Anne were Cottars at 2b Calbost and they had seven children, only three of whom survived into adulthood.
The family moved to Stornoway in the late 1900s and settled at 24 North Beach Street.
