15055: Roderick Smith
Roderick Smith (1854-1927) was a son of Donald Smith and Catherine Macleod, 6 Keose. He moved to Tarbert, Harris in the 1880s where he set up as a General Merchant. He later opened a second shop and became a postmaster. He served on the Harris School Board for 32 years including many years as Chairman.
In 1894, he married Christina MacLeod of croft 1/2 Ruisgarry. They had one daughter Catherine born in 1897.
