Donald Murray (1807-1855) was the first husband of Christina Macdonald, a niece of Roderick Reid the minister in Keose. He was the headmaster at the Parish School, Keose from 1863-1878 after which he was minister of Sheildaig from 26 September 1845 until his death in 1855. His widow came to Keose and taught sewing in the local school until her death.
