John (born 1864) was a son of Alexander Macleod and Annabella Maciver,10 Habost. In 1903 at 25 Garibraid Avenue, Glasgow he married Catherine Ann Maciver, 13a Laxay. John and Catherine Ann settled at 10 Habost, where he ran a tailoring business. They had five children.
