119986: John Welsh Macmurchie
John Welsh Macmurchie (1918-1942) was a son of John Macmurchie and Lizzie Macleod, Grimsby.
He was a sailor and served as a Second Lieutenant in the Merchant Navy during the Second World War.
John was lost when the SS Pennington Court was torpedoed and sunk south east of Cape Farewell. He is named on the Tower Hill Memorial in London.
