119576: Margaret Morrison

Margaret (1934-2020) was a daughter of Donald Morrison and Peggy Ann Macaulay, 12 Mangersta. She went to Mangersta School and then on to the Nicolson Institute. After leaving school, she and a group of friends left the island to work in hotels all over the country. She moved to Golspie in 1954 and worked in the Stag’s Head Hotel.

Margaret married Alexander Smith, Golspie, where they lived. They had three children.
