119026: Iain Macleod
Iain (1955-2019) was the son of Malcolm Donald Macleod and Isabella Gillies, 17 Uigen. He attended Valtos School and The Nicolson Institute before continuing his education at Glasgow College of Building. As a student, he spent his summer holidays as a ghillie on Hamnaway Estate.
Iain’s first post was with the building firm Balfour Beatty and finally the energy company ENGIE. He was married with one son and lived in the Renfrewshire area, in Linwood, Houston and latterly Johnstone.
