116660: Murdo Mackinnon
Murdo (1900-1919) was the elder son of the same name of Cain Mackinnon and Christina Buchanan, 18 Brenish. Murdo served in the Royal Naval Reserve (RNR) on HM Drifter Eddy during the First World War.
On returning home after only six months service, he was drowned in the Iolaire Disaster 01.01.1919. A record for Murdo can be found in the Roll of Honour 1914-1918.
