115951: Rev John Angus Newall

John Angus (born 1905) was a son of John Newall and Ann Mackay, Tong Farmhouse. In 1923, John emigrated with his family to Canada, where they stayed until 1933. On their return they lived at Reay Cottage, 67 Back.

John married Peggy Buchanan, 6 Kneep and they had three children.

John  commenced his ministry in the Free Church on the Island of Coll before moving  to the Church of Scotland at Ullapool and later Scourie, Strathconon and Resolis.

John and Peggy retired to Inverness.
