113519: Michael MacAskill

Michael, born 1791, was the son of Neil MacAskill and Mary MacRailt of Borve and Ruisgarry. He became a shepherd. With his wife Catherine, whose maiden surname is unknown, he had at least five children, living at Druim Dubh. During the 1840s the family emigrated to Cape Breton, either Sydney Mines or North Sydney.
