113380: Kenneth Ferguson

Kenneth Ferguson was married to Catherine, whose maiden surname is unknown. He tenanted a small croft in Ruisgarry, shown on the rental roll for 1818, paying £6.12.6 annually. It is possible that he previously held a tenancy in Borve. Kenneth and Catherine had at least two children, emigrating to Fergusons’ Lake, Cape Breton during the 1820s. 

Note: Rachel and Mary are shown as Kenneth’s daughters in the local croft history. However, research in Canada describes them as his grand-daughters instead.
