110621: Margaret Campbell

Margaret (1904-2004) was a daughter of John Campbell and Hannah Macaulay, 14 Portnaguran, Point. She married Reverend Kenneth Macleod, 8 Carishader. His ministry took them to several places until, in 1969, he took over the charge of St Columba’s Church, Stornoway. It was in Stornoway they adopted a daughter to add to their family of two sons.

In 1975, they bought Mission House, Brenish and spent holidays there until 1978, when Mission House was sold.

On retirement, they moved to 2 Macdonald Road, Stornoway. When Margaret was widowed and her health failed she moved to Kirkcare, Stornoway and then to Bethesda Care Home.
