Louis (born 1908) was a son of William Macdonald and Catherine Ann Macneill, 16 Uigen. He moved with his family to 9 Ardroil in the early 1920s. Louis served in the Royal Naval Reserve during the Second World War and a record for him can be found in the Roll of Honour 1939-1945. He was severely wounded on HMS Wyvern off the coast of Holland May 1940. He was unmarried.
