13867: An Comunn Gaidhealach

An Comunn Gaidhealach is a voluntary membership organisation whose purpose is the preservation and development of the Gaelic language. It was founded in Oban in 1891 and is now based in Inverness. It organises the ‘Mod’ a festival of music and the arts and is the Scottish equivalent of the Welsh Eisteddford.
