40498: Parish of Resolis, Ross & Cromarty

The parish of Resolis is situated on the Black Isle and was once part of Cromartyshire before this county was merged with Ross-shire in 1890 to form Ross & Cromarty. Resolis was created in 1662 by the merger of two former parishes, Kirkmichael and Cullicudden.
