45123: Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium

This military cemetery was situated behind the Ypres Salient and began as a ‘hospital’ cemetery where patients who had died were interred. It was one of the largest of these cemeteries, containing 10,750 graves, including over 1100 Australians.
