Angus, the first tenant of 2 Borrowston ws married to Isabella Macaulay, Tobson Bernera. they had five children: Christina (b1832), Mary (b1834), John (b1837), Isabella (b1839) and Effie (b1841). The family emigrated to Ontario in 1855.

The croft was leased to John Macleod, 13/14 Borrowston and was passed to his son John (b1852), John’s son Donald (b1884) and thereafter to John Murdo, Donald’s son.
