Kenneth Maciver worked in Kenmore as a gamekeeper before moving to Morsgail and then to Barvas.

Robert Dempster who had been a gamekeeper in Valamus, moved to the Isle of Rhum in 1927 but returned to Lewis in 1929 and lived at Kenmore.
