First tenant of 20/21 Brenish in the 1849 relotting  was Angus Macleod, 8 Old Brenish; widow Catherine Macleod (nee Buchanan) shared the croft with her grandson, Norman Morrison, who later divided the croft with his brother, Angus Morrison.
