The Industrious was launched in 1949. It was owned by Angus MacLean of Backhill, Berneray, registered in Castlebay as CY 116. Angus sold it to Angus Alex Macdonald of Tobson.
In 1977 the Industrious was sold to the Macdonald brothers of 24 Valtos, and registered at Stornoway as SY 107. The Macdonalds sold it to Leverburgh in 1981.
