The SS Port Macquarie was a Cargo Steamship built by Hawthorne Leslie & Co Ltd, Newcastle in 1913 for W Millburn & Co the Ango Australasia Steam Navigation Co, London. She was sold and renamed SS Cambrian Marchioness, the SS Clan Grant and the SS Stangrant.
On October 13, 1940 the SS Stangrant was on passage to Belfast and was torpedoed and sunk with the loss of eight lives.
