The SS Queen was a Cargo Steamship built by Russel & Co, Port Glasgow for the State Steamship Co, Glasgow. She was sold to the Rome Steam Shipping Co, London in 1914.
On June 28, 1918 on passage from Cardiff to La Spezia the SS Queen was torpedoed and sunk with the loss of 22 lives.
