120584: HMS Marmion

The Paddle Steamer Marmion (121340) was built by A & J Inglis Ltd, Glasgow in 1906 for the North British Railway Co, Glasgow. She was requisitioned by the Admiralty as an Auxiliary Minesweeper from 1915-1920 and again in 1939.

On April 9, 1941 HMS Marmion was bombed and sunk at Harwich.
