The HMS Dauntless was a Dragon Class Light Cruiser built by Palmers Shipbuilding & Engineering Co, Hebburn for the Royal Navy.  She served in the Second World War.

• Displacement: 4850 tons. 
• Dimensions: 472½ x 46½ x 16½ feet.
• Armament: Six 6 inch along the centre line, three 4 inch AA and sixteen smaller guns. Twelve torpedo tubes in four triple mountings.
