121899: Census Canada 1906
The 1906 Census marked the first regularly scheduled collection of statistics specifically for the provinces of Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. It officially began on June 24, 1906. A commissioner was appointed to each province to coordinate the census effort.
