Catherine (1860-1917) was the daughter of John Smith and Christina Macdonald, 10 Upper Carloway.
At Stornoway, in 1884, she married William Mitchell of Stornoway and they had a son, William.
Catherine was widowed in 1889 and at Stornoway, in 1890, she married Donald Morrison, 11 Knock Carloway. Catherine and Donald settled at 11 Knock Carloway and they had three children.
At St Giles, Edinburgh in 1910, she married John Leith from Ardersier.
