36237: Kenneth Macleod
Kenneth Macleod (1793-1870) was the son of Neil Macleod and Catherine Mackenzie. He lived on Vuia Mhor until he emigrated to Cape Breton in 1826 with his wife, Ann Macleod of Balallan.
It is said that during their sea crossing in 1826, their child died but they managed to keep it a secret until they landed, so that the child would not be buried at sea.
They settled at Hunter’s Mountain – ten miles East of his brothers at Bucklaw and had three more children.
