Alexander Montgomery, parishoner of Lochs in Lews Island a sailor was washed from on board a vessel belonging to the west Isles, which vessel was stranded opposite the town of Northmille on Wednesday Morning November 17th day 1756 and his body being found upon the shoar (sic) was buried in this churchyard Monday December 20th Day
