9289: The Inverness Courier

The Inverness Courier is a local newspaper covering Inverness and the wider Highlands and Islands of Scotland. With the first issue appearing in 1817, it is the longest-running local paper in the area. In 1885 it acquired the copyright of The Inverness Advertiser. Copies are held by the National Library of Scotland.
