47924: West Side Historical Society archive

The archive of the West Side Historical Society (Comann Eachdraidh an Taobh Siar) is housed in the community centre in Shawbost. It has a wealth of material, including old photographs, interviews with local individuals on a variety of topics (life experiences, croft work, war, church etc), local songs, detailed mapping and information on local sheilings.
