Subtitled The Extraordinary Life and Work of Angus MacPhee, this book by Roger Hutchinson recalls the life of a South Uist man who served with the Lovat Scouts during the Second World War. Unable to cope with military life, he retreated into a private world, spending his time weaving and knitting items from the natural objects around him.
