Murdo Alick (1907-1982) was a son of Donald Morrison and Isabella Ann Macdonald, 44 Gravir.

After the death of his father, Dòmhnall Moil, in 1937, he took over the running of his fathers shop at the head of the Loch in Gravir, until his brother Donald John came back from the war. Murdo Alick was a weaver and settled at the family home at 44 Gravir. He also drove his brother John Murdo's bus on occasion.

In Perth, in 1943, he married Ann Matheson, 26 Gravir. Murdo Alick and Ann settled at 44 Gravir.
