Donald Macleod
Donald was born c1880 to 8 Geshader, Uig.
He left the island for Bradford, Yorkshire where he was a draper; in 1901 he appears to be a draper's assistant and lodging at 51 Hanover Square in the town. He also played football professionally with Bradford City and Mansfield Town. He was very popular in the Bradford business community and at his untimely death in his 30s was sorely missed.
Local sources also suggest he had a connection with Cardiff - currently under investigation.
