Angus G (born 1881) was the son of John Nicolson and Jane Finlayson of the Eastern Townships of Quebec. His family had emigrated, from the cottars house at 20 Coll, prior to his birth.

Angus married Isabella Macdonald, of Lake Megantic. Isabella's family had emigrated, from the cottars house at 37 North Tolsta, to Lake Megantic, prior to her birth.
