95445: Murdo Macdonald

Murdo (born 1871) was the son of Donald Macdonald and Catherine Macleod, the family were cottars at 37 North Tolsta.

In 1873 the family emigrated to Lake Megantic, Canada.

Murdo married Mary Mackay Morrison, a daughter of Samuel Morrison and Alexis Mackay, of Geocrab, Harris, who  were married there in 1873 and had emigrated to Marsboro, Quebec in 1877. They went on to have eight children.
