95374: John Maciver
John (1799-1874) was the son of Evander Maciver and Mary Macleod; it is not certain where the family were living at the time of his birth.
By 1820 his father is named on the sub-tenants list of Old South Tolsta Tack.
In 1830, during the croft lottings, the family obtained 21 Old South Tolsta. It is not certain he was still living in the parental home by this time.
He married Flora Murray, of Melbost, and the couple settled at 15 Melbost.
