95373: Norman Maciver
Norman Maciver (1788-1864) may have been one of the Point fishermen who stayed at Garry or at Port nam Bothaig at the Cladach.
He married Margaret Maciver, of Old South Tolsta Tack, but it is not clear where the couple initially settled or where their first two children were born; at some point they settled in Old South Tolsta Tack, but they dont appear to have been official sub-tenants.
In 1820 they left Tolsta for 3 Aird. Once there they had a further six children. In total they had eight children.
