95160: Murdo Morrison
Murdo (c1844-1906) was the son of Norman Morrison and Mary Maciver of 17 Old North Tolsta.
In 1853, when Old North Tolsta was de-crofted to make way for Tolsta Farm, the family emigrated to Canada. They settled in Lingwick, in the Eastern Townships of Quebec.
Murdo married Christie Gillies, of Quebec, but with links to 34/35 South Dell. They had 2 daughters and 3 sons. Murdo and Christie are both buried in the Lewis Cemetery, Gould, Quebec.
