Margaret (1850-1933) was a daughter of Angus Murray and Catherine Maciver of 9 Old North Tolsta.

Margaret's father was drowned in 1852 and a year later Old North Tolsta was decrofted to make way for Tolsta Farm. At that time her widowed mother moved the family to 52 Swainbost.

Margaret married John Maclean, of 17 Habost. Their son Angus's Royal Naval Reserve record shows his place of birth as Swainbost, and his address as 17 Habost, so this may give some indication of Margaret and John's subsequent places of settlement.
