94905: Anne Macinnes

Anne (1853-1918) was the daughter of Norman Macinnes and Catherine Morrison of 5 Glen Tolsta. Her family lost the croft the year of her birth and became cottars in Glen Tolsta.

In 1858 the family obtained 5a Glen Tolsta as a newly lotted croft. They lost this croft in 1869 and became cottars in Tolsta.

In 1874 her parents obtained 76 North Tolsta as a newly lotted croft. They lost this croft in 1878 and moved to Stornoway. It is not clear if Anne was still living in the parental home at the time of these moves.

She married John Morrison, of 20 Cross Street, Coulregrein, and they settled in Stornoway.
