94771: David Maclean

David (died 1993) was the son of Rev Duncan Maclean and Constance Maginnis of Lochcarron.

In August 1972 his father became a minister and the family settled at the Free Presbyterian Manse, North Tolsta.

In October 1979 the family moved to Borve, Harris.

His eldest brother, Kenneth, died in 1984 and his father became an alcoholic and was suspended from the ministry in 1985. The family then returned to Loch Carron where his father gained work as a bus driver.

His mother died in 1989.

In 1992 his father married again.
