Catherine (1900-1970) was a daughter of Donald Morrison and Peggy Macinnes, 9a Calbost.
The family moved to Steimreway in 1923 as there were six other families living at 9 Calbost.
In Stornoway, in 1929 she married widower John Macaskill, 40 Gravir. Catherine, who was a cousin of his first wife Ann, had two daughters before their marriage.
Catherine and John settled at 40 Gravir and they had two children.
