Murdina (born 1914) was a daughter of Murdo Murray and Catherine Murray at 27 North Tolsta. Sometime between 1913 and 1916 the family moved to Seaview, Hill Street, North Tolsta.

Five weeks after her birth her father changed her name from Christy Mary to Murdina as he had had a premonition of his death. He died shortly after in the Battle of Jutland. The story is reported in an article in The Scotsman of 16th May 2016.

In 1939 Murdina's son Murdo Allan was born.

Murdina married William Hynes in 1942 and settled with him in Glasgow.
