93778: Catherine Macmillan

Catherine (c1860-1925) was the daughter of Alexander Macmillan, master joiner, and Anne McLean, and lived at Drumnadrochit, Loch Ness (though it is not certain she was born there). Catherine’s date of birth is uncertain as her 1925 death certificate gives her age as 65, whilst her 1909 marriage certificate gives her age as 47.

In 1909, at Strathnacro, Glen Urquhart, Catherine married Alexander Maclennan, of 60 North Tolsta. The marriage registration lists Catherine as a housekeeper, resident in Falkirk, with parents deceased. Catherine and Alexander settled in Glasgow.

Catherine died in Falkirk.
