Angus Campbell
Angus (1881-1936) was the son of Hector Campbell and Catherine Macrae, of 44 North Tolsta.
He joined the Seaforth Milita and served in Cairo during the Boer War. At the outbreak of the First World War he joined the Royal Naval Reserves prior to being discharged from the Militia.
Angus married Henrietta Matheson, of 10 Flesherin, and the couple settled at 44 North Tolsta. They had four children: three girls and a boy.
In 1921 their son, Hector, died aged ten.
In due course 44 North Tolsta passed to their daughter Catherine.
